A true icon in concours condition. This Land Cruiser BJ42 has spent four years undergoing restoration in Belgium, using only genuine Toyota parts. There is no other in this condition.

Finished in the typical Toyota beige sand colour with a contrasting white roof. This vehicle has a removable roof and the windscreen can be folded down against the bonnet for cruising in the summer.

A brief summary:

- Frame-off nut-and-bolt restoration carried out by a knowledgeable enthusiast. Every screw is made of stainless steel.

- rare version with small rear doors, a removable hardtop roof and a dropdown front windshield

- fitted with the original 3B diesel engine (tested by Toyota experts, no issues, no overhaul required)

- fitted with the original 5-speed manual gearbox (tested by Toyota experts, no issues, no overhaul required)

- new original Toyota leaf spring set

- Seats and interior panels upholstered in leather (instead of the original vinyl)

- Original, unspoilt interior

- Comes with an original Toyota jack



Driving this vehicle is pure nostalgia. No luxury. A raw, indestructible diesel. And plenty of attention and thumbs-up along the way.



Since the restoration, the vehicle has covered just 2,380 kilometres (the original odometer is available and reads 233,124 km). Driven only in dry, sunny weather. Always stored in a warm, dry place.
