How is the cost per mile calculated?

Our formula takes the following parameters into account

  • The number of kilometers you drive each year
  • The number of years you plan to keep your car
  • Registration and road taxes
  • Your vehicle's average fuel consumption
  • Fuel costs (excluding electricity consumption)
  • The cost of your garage (if you don't have one, enter €0)
  • The cost of your insurance (by default, the amount of liability coverage)
  • The price of tires
  • The cost of maintenance
  • Your vehicle's depreciation and its resale value
  • The cost of oil and the capacity of your oil tank
