#autochina / Zeekr 9X by Mansory: Now It's China's Turn

Written by Laurent Blairon on April 25, 2026

When Mansory decided to expand its horizons, it chose THE most promising market: China. The Zeekr 9X by Mansory, unveiled with great fanfare at the Beijing Auto Show taking place this week, is a surprise.

There are some signs you just can’t ignore. If Mansory—a tuning firm accustomed to working on and customizing Mercedes-Benz, Rolls-Royce, and Lamborghini models—is turning its attention to a Chinese SUV—a first for such a renowned tuner—it’s a clear sign that the entire automotive industry has its sights—and its lenses—set firmly on the East. Or maybe the G-Class, Urus, and Cullinan are just out of style. For its latest stylistic extravaganza, Mansory is taking on the Zeekr 9X, which the Chinese brand calls the “new global flagship of ultra-luxury SUVs.” Do you like things that are exclusive and flashy? This way, please…

Carbon on every floor

On the outside, the concept is simple: carbon fiber, more carbon fiber, and even more carbon fiber. A redesigned front bumper with integrated lighting, flared wheel arches, custom side skirts, an XXL roof spoiler, and a revised rear diffuser… it’s all there. The result adds a new dimension to a large SUV that certainly didn’t lack for size (5.24 meters long). Special mention goes to the little technical flourish so dear to Mansory: the conversion of the rear doors into “suicide doors.” The operation is anything but trivial and requires a complete overhaul of the door structure.

2.0-liter hybrid, 1,381 hp (stock)

Mansory didn’t feel the need to tinker with the mechanical components. The original hybrid powertrain remains intact, delivering 1,381 hp and 1,410 Nm of torque from the combination of a 2-liter internal combustion engine and three electric motors. The result: a 0-100 km/h sprint in 3.1 seconds, and a top speed limited to 240 km/h. The only modification: a custom exhaust system, just to add a soundtrack worthy of the visual spectacle. But it’s possible to drive in complete silence, thanks to the massive 70 kWh battery (for a hybrid), which would give it a 100% electric range of 250–300 km.
On the driving front, Mansory is debuting its new FT.19 wheels—measuring a whopping 24 inches. Forged, massive, and obviously perfectly suited to this kind of machine where subtlety is clearly not a priority.

Interior: VIP lounge on wheels

Inside, you’re treated to an ultra-premium limousine-like atmosphere: two-tone full leather upholstery, ventilated seats in both the front and rear, and even… a mini-fridge between the rear passengers. Hybridization and hydration—they’re pretty much the same thing, aren’t they? The “First Edition” version takes the concept even further with backlit door panels featuring silhouettes of cities that are key to Zeekr. A kitschy detail that’s expensive to produce—and therefore perfectly in line with Mansory’s DNA.

Mansory, true to form

All in all, this Zeekr 9X by Mansory checks all the boxes: over-the-top, ultra-luxurious, technically impressive, and completely impossible to miss. While it’s listed at around €80,000 in Europe, the Mansory makeover could easily double the price tag. In short, pure Mansory. And if you think it’s too much… you’re probably not the target audience. Unless you actually like it?
